Breathing New Life into Oil Platforms. Awarded 3rd place, this project tackles the challenge of decommissioned oil platforms in the northern Adriatic Sea. We envision transforming these structures into multifunctional spaces that drive sustainability, innovation, and community engagement. ReGenesis offers a hopeful vision, showcasing how we can repurpose existing infrastructure for a greener future.
Results
The Adriatic Oasis Project, our 3rd place winning design featured in competitions.arch for the YAC – Young Architects Competitions’ The Iron Island competition, reimagines offshore oil platforms as thriving, sustainable communities. This vision transforms these structures into vibrant spaces where people and the Adriatic Sea can coexist harmoniously, creating true oases of innovation and ecological balance.
